Statement of Inclusivity & Anti-racism

I, Adam Skandarani, am a Muslim, Arab-American, neurodivergent, genderfluid person. As such, I have taken a stand against racism in greater society and within my own industry, the pet training industry.​

Systemic racism & oppression is a real problem within our society and it leads to so much harm to marginalized communities including but not limited to: the LGBTQIA, the disabled, and the neurodivergent communities, but especially the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community.

Just as I have faced prejudice, I am aware that I, too, have implicit biases taught to me through the societies I was raised and live in. I understand that because of those implicit biases, I too, have and will continue to transgress many marginalized groups - including ones of which I am a member. I understand that I have a lot of work to do in order to unlearn these implicit biases and I am committed to doing that work.

I am committed to inclusivity and anti-racism for my clients' sakes. I am committed to inclusivity and anti-racism for my own sake. I am committed to inclusivity and anti-racism for society's sake.
